Merry Christmas from Tinker Tailor Online

Glitter Star

Here we are skipping towards Christmas Day on what has proved to be a surprising and challenging year for a lot of us. I am writing this post from Menorca where we are spending Christmas with my parents and my sister. Things will be a bit different this year, I won’t be in charge, Simon won’t be brining the turkey and we’ll be putting our feet up while my Mum make a fuss of us all!

Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

In the year that waved goodbye to David Bowie, left the EU and welcomed Donald Trump to the White House there is a lot to reflect upon. I made the leap from the world of teaching to the world of blogging and it really has been a tough but incredibly rewarding transition. I could never have anticipated how hard it actually is to blog full time and how much I would have to learn in a small space of time. The reality of giving up a regular income and becoming self-employed has been a steep learning curve but I will always be eternally grateful to my husband for backing me and giving me the opportunity to try.

Switch off, enjoy and recharge

Before I officially sign off until the New Year I want to take the opportunity to say a very special thank you those of you who take the time to read my posts and follow me on social media, without YOU this journey I embarked on some 9 months wouldn’t be possible. I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the lovely people that have supported me and come into my life both online and offline. So without further ado, I wish you and yours a very Merry and stylish Christmas.

Cheers!
