My friend ‘A’ pointed me in the direction of this brand a few months ago. ‘You should blog about it’ she said and waxed lyrical about the quality and affordability of this new kid on the block. I felt it was my duty as a blogger to check them out and report back to you because when your friend tells you about a good thing you listen, don’t you?
Nobody’s Child is an ethical UK fashion brand promising ‘fast fashion with a conscience’ and I for one am happy to get behind it. I must admit that I wasn’t sure this was the shop for me, they stock a lot of very short and very tight fitting tops but I was able to find some excellent wardrobe updates. I’m talking good quality fabrics that feel soft to the touch and the prices are hard to resist. Their sizing is quite generous if a little inconsistent in my opinion. I sized down in the tops that I ordered but the Marcella wraparound boho style dress doesn’t quite cover my modesty so I have been wearing it with a lacy camisole underneath. However, it fits beautifully everywhere else and I’m delighted with the length. I am 5ft 1in and I struggle to find a maxi dress that doesn’t need an alteration.
The Marcella dress was my favourite purchase by far. I wore it to the pub at the weekend with wedges and plenty of gold jewellery but I’m sure I’ll also get some mileage out of in the autumn, worn with opaque tights and a roll neck perhaps. It’s a steal at £28.
I also bought a couple of tops including this logo tee which sums me up perfectly! I look forward to wearing it with my Hush blazer and jeans.

As this was my first order I was also able to get a 10% discount. Happy shopping!
