I have been after a black blazer for a while and after weeks of looking around for the perfect one I finally got my hands on Hush’s summer jacket. I can report with some confidence that the fashionmics are working and it’s already earning its keep. I love it when that happens!
The jacket is made from soft-lightweight fabric and has a relaxed fit which is incredibly versatile. It has deep pockets (yay!) – I get excited about pockets, they are so useful but too rare in women’s clothing in my opinion. I just know that I’ll be wearing this on repeat in the coming months and to give you an idea I have styled it three ways.

My first look is a sort of easy chic ideal for wandering round town. I wore an old pair of boyfriend jeans teamed with a t-shirt and white trainers, topped off with the jacket and some gold accessories. Perfect for running my three daughters to and from dance classes on a Saturday whilst I try to get on with a million other things in between!
Next up is the ‘out for cocktails’ look. I dug out my very high heels from Kurt Geiger which I’ve had for a while (you can find similar here) and paired them with a leather look pencil skirt from Stradivarius. I topped it all off with my Scatter Star tee from Hush. I like how the simple t-shirt softens the killer heels and skirt.
Finally, relaxed but smart. I actually wore this for afternoon tea at Sketch. This place had been on my hit list for so long that I thought I might pass out with joy on the day. For this occasion I wore high waisted black jeans and simple white top, the jacket and high shine shoes pulled it all together.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I’d love to hear about your wardrobe staples and recent purchases, leave me a message and I’ll reply as soon as I can.

Can I ask if it sizes big or normal
Hello! In my opinion the sizing is generous in this style so maybe size down if you don’t want it too loose fitting. Hope that’s helpful x
